I miss that beauty

Those fiery green eyes

settled on her raw-pink lips

those honest careless smiles.

miss those winds,

which blew the curls of her hair

partially revealing and hiding,

the emotions on her face.

as if sitting on the pew of a church

saying prayers to the good Lord,

I missed the gentle touch,

the warm feeling of her skin.

But still there's something,

that keeps me alive

Ready to take that leap of faith

I'll keep waiting for you.
